INTRODUCTION

THE PLACE WHERE OTHERS STOPPED

There is a place where many people stop.

Some stop when they experience their first major disappointment. Some stop after their first failure. Some stop when people reject them. Others stop because they have achieved a little success and become comfortable with where they are.

There are people who stop because they have been told that they cannot go further.

There are others who stop because nobody around them has gone further.

But there is something you must understand:

The fact that others stopped there does not mean you were created to stop there.

Someone may have reached a particular level and concluded that it was impossible to go beyond it. Someone may have failed at a particular assignment and decided that the dream was not possible. Someone may have struggled financially and accepted poverty as a permanent reality.

But their experience does not have to become your conclusion.

Your journey is your journey.

Your calling is your calling.

Your assignment is your assignment.

And your possibilities may be far greater than anything you have seen around you.

The Bible says:

«“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”» — 1 Corinthians 2:9

God is not limited by the boundaries of human experience.

Sometimes, we unconsciously build our expectations around what we have seen other people achieve. If nobody in our family has built a successful business, we assume it is impossible. If nobody around us has obtained a particular level of education, we believe it is beyond us. If nobody we know has travelled that road, we assume the road does not exist.

But possibility does not begin with precedent.

Sometimes, God calls a person to become the first.

The first entrepreneur.

The first graduate.

The first author.

The first millionaire.

The first community leader.

The first person to build something significant.

The first person to break a generational pattern.

The first person to say:

“It stops here.”

And sometimes the person who becomes the first must walk where there is no established path.

That is why this book is not merely about achievement.

It is about becoming.

It is about discovering what God has placed inside you and refusing to allow fear, failure, limitation, criticism, delay, or comfort to determine how far you will go.

There is more.

There is another level.

There is another dimension.

There is another chapter.

There is another opportunity.

There is another mountain.

And sometimes the greatest tragedy is not failing to reach the top.

The greatest tragedy is stopping when you are only a few steps away.

This book is written to awaken something inside you.

It is written to challenge your thinking.

It is written to strengthen your faith.

It is written to make you uncomfortable with unnecessary limitations.

And above all, it is written to remind you:

YOU CAN GO BEYOND THAT.
