TOPIC: BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
“TEXT: "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit." — Ephesians 5:18 (KJV) ”
FOCUS OF THOUGHT: A child with an excellent spirit depends on the Holy Spirit every day.
DEVOTIONAL EXPLANATION: The Holy Spirit is God's precious gift to every believer. He teaches us God's Word, helps us make right decisions, gives us strength to obey God, and empowers us to live victorious lives.
Daniel lived with an excellent spirit because God was with him. Today, every child of God has the privilege of being guided by the Holy Spirit. He helps us to love others, resist temptation, pray effectively, and grow in godly character. When you spend time praying, reading the Bible, and obeying God, the Holy Spirit works in your heart and helps you become more like Jesus Christ.
Never depend only on your own strength or wisdom. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts, words, and actions every day. A child who is led by the Holy Spirit will always stand out for God's glory.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I declare that I am filled with the Holy Spirit. He shall lead me into truth, wisdom, excellence, and victory. My life shall continually reflect the glory of God in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
