SAY NO TO PEER PRESSURE
““My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.””
You do not have to say yes just because everyone else is saying yes.
Peer pressure is one of the biggest battles young people face. Friends may say, "Everybody is doing it," "Don't be boring," or "Just try it once." It can feel very hard to stand alone.
But Solomon gives a simple instruction: when sinners entice you, do not consent. You have the power to say no. Sin often looks attractive at first, but it always has a painful ending.
Remember, real friends do not force you to disobey God. Standing for what is right may cost you some popularity, but it will save you from regret. Those who respect God will eventually respect you too.
You are not alone when you say no. The Holy Spirit is with you, and He gives you courage. It is better to stand alone with God than to sit comfortably in a crowd that is going the wrong way.
I declare that I will not bow to peer pressure. I am strong, bold, and led by the Holy Spirit. When sinners entice me, I will not consent. In Jesus' name, Amen.
