A CHILD WITH AN EXCELLENT SPIRIT
“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. — Daniel 6:3 (KJV)”
Excellence is not about being proud; it is letting God’s light shine brightly in your schoolwork, character, and obedience.
Have you ever wondered what made Daniel stand out in the entire palace of Babylon? It was not his fine clothes or loud voice. It was the excellent spirit that lived inside him!
Daniel chose to honor God every single day. When others were lazy or disobedient, Daniel did his tasks with joy, honesty, and care. Having an excellent spirit means doing your best even when no one is watching, being kind to your classmates, listening to your parents, and studying diligently. When you invite Jesus into your heart, He fills you with divine wisdom that makes you shine like a star wherever you go!
I am a champion for God! I have an excellent spirit! I will excel in my schoolwork, I will be a joy to my family, and God’s favor will surround me every day!
